Paging Jason Kidd

After the NBA’s Father Time dropped an average 12 points, 5 rebounds, 7 dimes, and nearly 40% 3-point shooting on the Portland Trail Blazers in the first round of the 2011 NBA playoffs he sounded the Amber Alert by disappearing only to reappear for the middle three of the five games versus the OKC Thunder, then once again goin’ M.I.A. for the Finals.

This fact wasn’t lost on local Utah sports talk radio show host Alema Harrington, who brought it to his listeners’ attention on air, along with a plea for me to do something about it.

I was only too happy to oblige…

…much to “Mr. A Game’s” delight.

It’s a good thing we pulled together so quickly to get this Kidd found, as he was instrumental in breaking a 2-2 series tie against the Miami Heat in the Finals with 13 points on 4-6 shooting —3 of which were 3s (3-5, 60%)— 2 rebounds, 6 assists, a block and 3 steals.

Although I’m still unsure why, my mother would like to thank The Milkman.

What the hell does Ty Corbin have to do with any of this?
