I recently ran into Utah Jazz legend John Stockton at his Draper, Utah Honda dealership, where he was signing autographs, a rarity.
Come my turn, he shook my hand as I said to him, “John Stockton! My second-favorite player of all time!”
He gave me the side-eye and deadpanned, “Second favorite?!”
“Yeah.” says I, “Don’t tell Karl he’s third…”
After a hearty belly laugh Stock inquired who was my all-time favorite baller. He replied, “Hard to argue with that” when I told him it was Wilt.
